Joseph B. Rogers is from Westmoreland, New York in Oneida County.  He was admitted to practice law in New York State in January 2012.  He graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2008 [B.A. Political Science, Economics, summa cum laude] and from Albany Law School in 2011 [J.D., magna cum laude].

Mr. Rogers is a partner in the firm, and focuses his practice on estate planning, long-term care planning, elder law and estate administration.  His practice includes the construction of a variety of estate planning documents, such as Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies and Living Wills, and Dispositions of Remains.  He assists clients with long-term care planning, including Medicaid planning, the reservation of life estate interests in deeds, and Asset Protection Trusts.  He has extensive experience in the area of the administration of decedents’ estates, including probate, intestate estate administration, ancillary probate and administration of non-resident estates, irrevocable trust administration, probate of heirship, and the federal and New York State Estate Tax.  He also assists clients with guardianship proceedings and name change proceedings.

Mr. Rogers has served on the Board of Directors at CareFirst since 2017.

Mr. Rogers lives in Corning, New York with his wife, Kristen, and their three children.
